SURSUM CORDA

lifting hearts since 1992

Sursum Corda is an all-gender service organization founded in 1992. We are a part of Loyola Marymount University's Service Organization Community (SOC) based in Los Angeles, CA.

With a focus on food justice and food insecurity, we seek to better the world around us by constantly educating ourselves on the convergence of food insecurity with other social justice issues and engaging in intentional acts of service.

In Latin, the phrase sursum corda roughly translates to 'lifting hearts', which is something we seek to do everyday.

Boom. Lifted. ❤️
